Purpose: Run Google's new Lighthouse report to see how ready your website is for AI agents — in under 5 minutes, no technical skills required.

Who this is for: Anyone with a website who wants to understand whether AI agents can discover, navigate, and use their site effectively.

When to run it: Now (to establish your baseline), and again whenever you make significant changes to your site structure, forms, or interactive tools.

What You Need

Phase 1: Set Up Chrome Canary

Goal: Get the browser you need to access the report. The standard version of Chrome does not include the Agentic Browsing category yet.

  1. Go to google.com/chrome/canary and download Chrome Canary.
  2. Install it like any other browser. You do not need to replace your regular Chrome — Canary runs separately.
  3. Open Chrome Canary and navigate to your website.

Note: Do not use Chrome Canary as your everyday browser. It is a beta version and can be unstable. Use it specifically for running this report.

Phase 2: Run the Report

Goal: Generate the Agentic Browsing Lighthouse report for your site.

  1. With your website loaded in Chrome Canary, right-click anywhere on the page and select Inspect (or press Ctrl+Shift+I on Windows / Cmd+Option+I on Mac).
  2. The DevTools panel opens. Look at the tabs along the top of the panel — you will see Elements, Console, Sources, etc.
  3. Click the >> arrows if you cannot see all the tabs. Find and click Lighthouse.
